Alana Silver has just released her new single, Patio Door, which transforms a deeply personal chapter into a warm indie-folk/Americana reflection. Originally written with only two guitar chords during a period of uncertainty, the track has evolved into a richly textured ballad through collaborations with pianist and producer John “Mac” McCann and later producer Alexander Martella.
Inspired by the collapse of a long-distance relationship and a life-changing move to California, the song captures the tension between endings and fresh starts. Recorded with live musicians in Las Vegas, Patio Door highlights Alana’s thoughtful songwriting, balancing vulnerability, hope, and self-discovery while marking the beginning of an exciting new artistic journey.
