British artist Spectral Twist has just released their two-track EP, Back Row Kid, which turns personal memories into relatable reflections. Emerging from Bishop Auckland, the project explores the emotional weight of feeling overlooked in a school setting that offered little support to those struggling socially.
Back Row Kid anchors the release with heartfelt storytelling while Level Ground complements its mood and message. Recorded at home, the songs balance melodic charm with meaningful themes, revealing a more playful musical side without losing sincerity. Although these tracks share a similar atmosphere, they represent only one facet of a broader, recently released album to date today.
