Los Angeles metal newcomers The Whispering have recently released their new EP, The Whispering – Part 1, which is a fierce four-track preview of their upcoming 2026 full-length release. Guided by vocalist and guitarist Lucian Fhor, the project blends crushing alternative metal riffs with cinematic atmosphere and aggressive precision.
The opening title track sets a dark, supernatural tone before launching into explosive rhythms powered by Tobias Kellgren and Dirk Verbeuren, alongside bassist Loic Colin. Recorded in France with producer Dan McConomy and finalized by mixer Mohammad “Momo” Sadeghin and mastering engineer Randy Merrill, the EP showcases polished brutality, rebellious themes, and massive live energy. This promising debut suggests The Whispering are aiming far beyond underground status.
