Klarstein.rocks have just released their new EP, Under Dim & Shaking Lights, in which they are turning scattered memories into a haunting, intimate folk experience. Built from rediscovered notebook scraps, cassette recordings and late-night conversations, the seven-track record drifts through Americana, folk rock and bare acoustic arrangements without feeling trapped by nostalgia.
The twin versions of the title track frame the same lyrical idea from different emotional perspectives, balancing youthful urgency against quiet reflection. Home in Black and White draws inspiration from Basel’s Morgestraich procession, adding darkness, rhythm and atmosphere to the release. Rather than polishing every detail, the project embraces rough edges and room noise, making these songs feel discovered instead of carefully reconstructed from another lifetime entirely today.
