Paris indie art-rock project Books Of Moods have just released his striking debut album, Dreams, which is an 11-song collection shaped by nostalgia, hazy memories and reflective storytelling. Created entirely by Hugo Sailer in his home studio and released through Void City Records, the album blends cinematic indie rock with touches of vintage pop and dreamy atmosphere.
Tracks move between romance, longing, stillness and fading summer moods, while maintaining a cohesive, slow-burning emotional flow. From the floating opener Space, Pt. 1 to the bittersweet French-language closer Amoureux, Dreams feels immersive and carefully crafted. Since starting in 2023, the project has gained press attention and pushed the project beyond 100,000 Spotify streams in recent years.
