Monterrey outfit Horizonte Lied have revisited their past on Nuevos Horizontes [Remastered Edition], which is a release that has reshaped older material into something almost entirely new. After years of delays and technical reinvention, the EP arrives as a farewell to one of the band’s darker creative eras.
Alex Ezert handled production, programming, synth work, and vocals, while Bernardo H. Garza and Luis “El Cartún” Pérez expanded the project with layered electronics and atmospheric percussion. Tracks such as Tu Enigma and Punto Crucial explore skepticism, denial, and personal growth, balancing industrial synthpop textures with reflective songwriting. Recorded at Studios M-13, the collection also highlights the group’s enduring role within Mexico’s underground electronic scene today
