Pumpkin Skull have just released their new single, Black Velvet Horror, which is a synth-soaked gothic single shaped by Halloween memories and eerie atmosphere. Akron duo Chris and Julia Bentley, previously from death rock band Night Goat, recorded the track inside their home studio. Whisper-like noises, strange glitches, reversed guitars, and dense synthesizer layers deepen the unsettling mood. The single represents a creative turning point, introducing a stronger electronic identity while preserving the band’s alternative roots.
