BADSQUATCH unveils new single, Move

BADSQUATCH has just released his new single, Move, which is the second glimpse into his forthcoming solo record, a deeply introspective project centered on mental health, shadow exploration, and personal evolution. The Omaha artist continues to ignore genre limits, pivoting sharply from the darkness of his previous single into an upbeat, retro-inspired track fueled by 80s exercise music energy.

Written during a period of heartbreak, the song reflects his turn toward physical activity as a path to healing and joy. Recorded in Mexico City, the track captures a playful, experimental spirit, with bright synths and catchy vocal layers. As part of a fourteen-song collection, Move hints at an unpredictable and emotionally wide-ranging album still to come later this year.
