You asked for it. We made it! Welcome to our newest endeavor aimed at helping independent artist!
Tunesaround PR - music PR services
In short:
We believe that music promotion should be effortless, fruitful and most importantly it should not eat away time and nerves of the artists. We are also music artists who for years were struggling with promoting our releases mostly because we did not want to do it as it was stressful and confusing, but also because we never had gigantic budges for professional music promotion, which are always way too expensive. So through our years of experience as artists, music bloggers and (some of us) band managers, we managed to build up good relationship with blogs and magazines. Good enough to be confident in our amazing (in our humble opinion) offer.
Without hiding anything and making you contact us first and waste your time. Here it is:
$850 for pitching to blogs, with guaranteed features in at least 10 established independent blogs (+ 1 free feature in our blog).
(If you'd like an option for a minimum of 20 blog features, the price will be $1200)
How we can guarantee 10 blog features you might wonder? As we said, we have good relationships with many blogs, which means we also know what kind of music they like. So we will only accept your application to represent you if we like the music, but also consider it also fits the criteria of these blogs. We do not accept every genre/style/message (please read at bottom).
Why is the service so cheap? Because we are a small team (three girls, two boys :), and mainly because other services are way too over-priced.
As a comparison other PR companies' prices start from $1500-2000/m and do not guarantee all that much.
Our full campaign generally runs for 3-4 weeks and is designed to maximize your exposure. We pitch your release to many media outlets that we work with, and we tailor each pitch to the media outlet to increase opportunities
Each campaign also includes Spotify playlist pitching to our carefully vetted curators. We present your music to these curators for potential playlist inclusion, enhancing your reach.
What sets apart Tunesaround PR from other PR companies is that we can deliver actual results. With other companies you pay only for the pitching. We can guarantee the blog placements because in our years in the music business we have build great relationships with many different outlets. We know their tastes and we send them only music we know they'd enjoy in a pitch that's just for them, that is also why our media contacts love hearing from us.
Another big advantage of a press campaign through Tunesaround PR is that it can help establish a strong online presence. Spotify utilizes NLP (Natural Language Processing) models to gather information about the music in a text-based context. This involves analyzing the lyrics, online listener behaviour, and user-generated playlist titles. Spotify, as well as many digital service providers, actually scour the internet for any text related to a specific song. So the more features with your artist name and release there are online, the better the chanced to end up on editors playlists, and of course raises your profile for the label and A&R people that may stumble across your music.
Doesn't that sound great?
Some of the names we work with* - EARMILK, Cougar Microbes, Obscure Sound, IGGY, Plastic mag, TJPL, A&R Factory, etc, etc. So cool, right!
(*We do not for sure guarantee 100% placement in exactly those, we only pitch to them, but if we agree to work with you chances are high).
How to know if you fit the criteria:
We love to promote music that we really enjoy listening ourselves, mainly from genres like pop, dark pop, darkwave, synth, electronic, indie, acoustic, everything alternative, original r&b, rock and metal; we also love chill lo-fi and ambient, instrumentals are OK, too. We like original music that combines and defies genres as well. We are all musicians ourselves that love to experiment with and treat music as art, and do not limit ourselves to just one style.
Before you apply read the following:
To make sure we can deliver the results we promise, please do not send us your music if it is in the following genres and with the following themes and messages:
hip-hop, grime, death/black/doom metal, old school country, political, way too anthemic, feminist (i.e toxic/way-too-extreme versions of movements like that that exclude big groups of people based on gender, race, etc and/or is hateful of them), christian (or any religion-specific), christmas, children, way too graphic and negative and/or triggering negative emotions songs about tragedies, war, abuse, hurt, etc.
NOTE: We receive every submission, and we cannot reply to all that do not fit the requirements we need, and also we hate the act of rejecting an artist, so if you do not hear back from us (in a span of a month) that means we did not pick you for our music PR service. It does not mean we did not receive the submission, so please do not re-send it.
If we choose to work with you we will send you an email which will contain a link to a page where you will be able to make the payment, so make sure you've submitted your email correctly in the application form below and are regularly checking it, including the spam folder :)
Can't wait to work together and get you the attention you and your music deserves. See you on the other side.
