Y is Nature's latest single, The Fool

Y is Nature, the indie and neo-psychedelic project led by Hjalmar Littauer, has just unveiled The Fool, the third single from his upcoming album Evasion.

The track, featuring Tuva Svendsen Hesmyr on vocals and co-production from Simon Littauer and Martin Solli, delves into the world of “spy pop”, a genre blending cinematic espionage themes with moody, atmospheric soundscapes.

With its haunting melodies and raw emotional core, The Fool explores the tension between love, control, and loss, reflecting a geopolitical landscape of secrecy and suspicion. The song’s floating synths and pulsing rhythms create a dystopian yet playful sound, capturing both anxiety and courage.

The accompanying 16mm video adds an evocative layer, and fans can expect more from Evasion, which will be released in March. Check out The Fool below.
