Woven Talon, the musical project of Andrew Tumason, has recently released his new album "Bao Somwa", an enchanting collection inspired by the natural world.

Infused with poly-rhythmic elements and rich acoustic textures, the album combines ancestral voices, global percussion, and mesmerizing strings, guiding listeners through a vivid exploration of both darkness and light.

Based between Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Aotearoa, New Zealand, Andrew creates evocative soundscapes that reflect his diverse journey and the communities that have influenced him. His recent collaborations, including work on Porangui & Liquid Bloom’s “Kuya Sessions” and contributions to various film scores, highlight his versatility as a multi-instrumentalist.

Featuring a stunning music video for the single "Manu", filmed in Colorado’s Great Sand Dunes and showcasing artwork by Michelle Demblon, "Bao Somwa" promises to be a transformative auditory experience that invites connection and movement.
