Vostoksounds’ latest EP, Frameworks

Vostoksounds’ new EP Frameworks offers a captivating exploration of instrumental soundscapes.

Drawing from a range of influences, from neo-classical to dark trip-hop, the four tracks are an atmospheric journey through ambient and art rock stylings. The EP’s unifying theme is a descending minor triad motif, subtly woven throughout the pieces.

Composed and produced by Vostoksounds, who handled all guitar, synth, and programming, the project also features bass contributions from Alex Burak and Matt Copson. Born out of the pandemic’s stillness, Frameworks was inspired by a chance encounter with a visual artist, though the music eventually took on a life of its own.

Vostoksounds’ Frameworks is a unique blend of evocative sounds, offering cinematic, genre-blurring compositions perfect for visual imagination. Check out the EP below.
