Twelve Days in June's latest album, Hiraeth

Twelve Days in June has returned with their latest album, Hiraeth, marking their fourth studio effort and a vibrant continuation of last year’s La Luna.

Produced by Ben Hirschfield, this 13-track compilation is a nostalgic nod to the 90's alternative rock scene, reminiscent of those energetic concert pits filled with passionate fans.

The band's frontman, Dave Hulegaard, began writing songs in the mid-90s, driven by a desire to capture the essence of an era he felt slipping away after the post-Nirvana shift in music. Hiraeth serves as a powerful addition to his discography, featuring an explosive sound that delves into profound themes of sorrow, solitude, existentialism, and life's fleeting nature.

This ambitious record seamlessly blends alternative rock, grunge, and shoegaze, creating a captivating sonic experience that feels like a cherished mixtape from the past. Check out Hiraeth below.
