Tone Ranger, the musical persona of Alex Simon, has just unveiled his latest single, Bloom, released on his own label, Animalia Music.
Known for his captivating dance tracks that draw inspiration from the enchanting allure of the desert, Alex is a multi-instrumentalist and composer who continually explores diverse sounds. His recent work has led him to remote locations, fueling his creativity.
Bloom reflects the rich tapestry of influences from the vibrant cultures of the Southwest, paying tribute to the musical traditions that shape his artistic journey. In this new collection, produced and recorded in his Santa Fe studio, Animalia Studios, Alex returns to his classical guitar roots, blending his signature infectious rhythms with a rich array of instruments. With local talents on trumpet and violin enriching the sound, this work radiates the mystical essence of Santa Fe.
