Swamp Music Players return with a moody new cover of Florida Keys, featuring British blues-rock powerhouse Wily Bo Walker.
This collaboration revives their early connection and brings cinematic depth to the track, rooted in Wily Bo’s signature noir world, VoodooVille. Bassist Evert Pater, co-creator of the song’s 2008 version, brings rhythmic grit using unconventional percussive tools, while Steve Greene’s Detroit-based synth work adds atmospheric polish.

The haunting bouzouki by Neil James in Victoria becomes a standout layer, threading the track’s dark allure. Recorded across three cities, this cover reflects the band’s growth and hints at what’s to come with their Swamp Sandwich Too EP in May 2025.
Balancing swampy vibes with gothic storytelling, Florida Keys isn’t just a cover—it’s a re-imagined soundscape dripping with tension and shadowed beauty. Check out the single below.
