SVYNX unveil debut album 'This Is Not Art'

SVYNX, a German rock duo from Cologne, have just released their debut album "This Is Not Art", blending progressive rock and pop through an innovative sound.

This self-produced collection features seven tracks, showcasing their penchant for quirky, groovy rhythms that appeal to both musicians and casual listeners. The band enlisted the help of RRenimArts for mixing and mastering, enhancing their distinct style with a polished quality.

Tracks like "Art Won’t Save Me Now" set an ironic tone, asserting that music alone isn't a solution. Songs like "Harvest Season" critique corporate greed, while "Europa" reflects on historical injustices. The closing track, "Alexandria", delivers a poignant reminder about the dangers of rising right-wing sentiments in Europe, urging us not to repeat past mistakes.

Overall, the album encapsulates the duality of optimism and disappointment experienced during the pandemic, highlighting societal challenges and the need for action. Check it out now.
