Kerrin Connolly unveils new album Transitions

Kerrin Connolly, a Boston-based indie pop-rock artist, has unveiled their new album, Transitions, showcasing their growth as a self-made musician.

This seven-track collection marks a shift from Kerrin’s previous work, featuring vibrant guitar riffs, somber harmonies, and dynamic drumming, all reflecting a candid refusal to settle into monotony. The album explores the discomfort of life’s in-between moments, confronting anxieties that challenge our identities and drive us to seek comfort instead of growth.

Tracks like American Psomething delve into the struggle for personal fulfillment amidst societal pressures, while Beige Ladies captures the melancholic acceptance of aging. The centerpiece, Interim, articulates the claustrophobia of being stuck in transition, contrasting with the energetic Talk Therapy, which encourages liberation from self-imposed limits.

The closing track, With My Hands, offers a buoyant melody paired with introspective lyrics, reminding listeners that life is about perseverance through uncertainty. Check out Transitions below.
