Jem Doulton unveils solo album 'Deal of the Century'

Jem Doulton, known for his drumming with Thurston Moore, showcases his latest solo endeavor "Deal of the Century", a diverse and vibrant album that exudes creativity and collaboration.


Drawing from his experiences in various music projects, Jem enlists a talented roster of musicians and artists to bring his vision to life. The album's sound is characterized by a confident and dynamic approach, touching on themes of introspection and social commentary.



The title track stands out with its sharp critique of the UK's recent history, complemented by a striking music video created by Thomas Blackburn. Additionally, Demian Castellaños will offer a unique psych-rock/dance remix of a track, adding another dimension to the album's sonic landscape.


With co-production by Hannes Plattmeier, "Deal of the Century" promises an immersive musical experience, underscored by a spirit of camaraderie and innovation. Featuring contributions from an array of talented individuals, this project reflects the joy and curiosity that define Jem Doulton's artistic ethos.
