Daffodildos unveil new EP 'Not My Cup of Tea'

Brighton’s vibrant queer-punk trio, Daffodildos, have just released their highly anticipated EP titled "Not My Cup of Tea".

Following a summer filled with festival performances and successful singles, this release marks a significant milestone for the band. The cheeky title stems from a humorous jab they received, highlighting their fun spirit and commitment to addressing pressing social issues.

Released under Not Saints, a label championing artists recovering from addiction, the EP blends playful tracks like "Ba Ba Ba Da" with thought-provoking anthems such as "No Pride" and "Never Enough". The former critiques the commercialization of Pride, while the latter offers a candid reflection on struggles with substance use.

With Emily Flea’s spirited vocals, reminiscent of 70's punk legends, alongside Captain Jax's bold bass lines and Dannie Von Flange's vigorous drumming, Daffodildos create a refreshing and powerful sound that's sure to resonate. Check out the EP now.
