Animal Prince’s debut album 'Have Good Dreams'

Bay Area’s retro-pop duo Animal Prince have just unveiled their debut album, "Have Good Dreams".

Comprised of multi-instrumentalists Fae Nageon de Lestang and Grant McLeod, the pair brings a rich background in classical music to their vibrant sound. Their journey began in Gainesville, FL, where they bonded over jazz and toured as part of the funk fusion group Flat Land until 2017.

A serendipitous gift of a baby grand piano reignited their passion, leading them to focus on their new venture. Blending 70's pop, bossa nova, and neo-soul, Animal Prince crafts a playful yet sophisticated sonic landscape, highlighted by Fae’s enchanting voice and layered melodies.

Their album, recorded at home during the turbulence of recent years, explores themes of joy and resilience, showcasing the duo's commitment to finding beauty in chaos and inspiring listeners to embrace their dreams amid uncertainty. Check out "Have Good Dreams" now.
