Melbourne band Reetoxa, founded by Jason McKee, have recently released their ambitious double album Soliloquy, which unfolds as a sweeping, orchestral rock odyssey rather than a conventional release. Jason’s vision, which was conceived decades ago and was reshaped during the pandemic isolation, dives deep into human emotion across 26 expansive tracks. Blending alternative, indie, and classic rock textures with cinematic scope, it rewards focused listening. The immersive project, which features a European orchestra, feels raw, reflective, and determined to push independent rock beyond today’s familiar boundaries.
