More unveil new album, Destructor

British heavy metal veterans More have just released their new album, Destructor, which is a record carrying special weight as it is the final production by renowned late producer Chris Tsangarides. Formed in London in 1979 during the rise of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, the band survived decades of lineup changes, losses, and industry shifts. Today’s lineup includes Baz Nicholls, Peter Welsh, Steve Rix and Mike Freeland.

Chris’ involvement injected renewed focus, and his distinctive studio approach helped shape the album’s dense guitars and thunderous sound. The ten-track release, which recorded in 2017, was nearly lost until bassist Baz Nicholls recovered the final mixes from abandoned studio equipment. Completed with mastering by Maor Appelbaum, the album blends aggression with precision.
