After more than a decade of quiet, Chinese post rock outfit Grace Latecomer reemerge Whispering (Jiang Zhang), a three song EP reflecting on memory, endurance, and voices that refuse to fade. Formed in Suzhou, China in 2005, the group helped shape the country’s early post rock landscape before disappearing from major releases for over twelve years. And this release does not feel like a reunion, but a natural next step.

The opening track, All That Is Solid Melts Into Air, introduces urgent vocals and lyrics by Xu Bo, which add direct emotional weight. Hua Hu Tiao follows with looping rhythms and restless movement, subtly reworking the band’s familiar textures. The closing piece, Kitsch Klub, drifts into a delicate, introspective mood. The EP was recorded at Milk Planet Studio and mastered by Mike Kalajian in New York.
