Two Dark Birds have just released their new album, Dreamers of the Golden Dream (Vol. 1), which is their fifth full-length record, captured live at The Woods studio near Woodstock, NY. The Catskills collective thrives on contrast, blending density and immediacy, humor and heart. Opening track Girl Of Summer freezes a fleeting instant and lets it radiate outward, while Good Boy Good delivers bright, guitar-driven pop with uncommon sincerity.
Born To Fall sketches a splintered family portrait. Elsewhere, the tender Sunbruise and fiery folk-rock riddle The Law expand the palette. The closing epic The Song to End It All sprawls ambitiously, confronting modern absurdity with grit and imagination. The band has announced that Volume 2 will be arriving this summer, so make sure to stay tuned for the continuation ahead.
