Switzerland’s Moon Construction Kit has just released his new single, Snake Charmer, which is a spellbinding return following their last track, Chemicals. The Lausanne-based project of Olivier Cornu continues to blur the lines between indie rock, alternative pop and cinematic psychedelia, channeling a distinctly late-60s glow.
Built on shimmering piano tones and mellotron swells, the track evokes the uneasy magic of a nighttime carnival. Beneath its ornate, baroque-tinged production lies a stark meditation on addiction and the fine line between remedy and ruin.
