Eoin Shannon has just released his new album, Every Drunk’s Gotta Story, which is a concept record set in a shadowy late night bar. Across twelve tracks, songwriter, who hails from Cork, Ireland, sketches tales of romance, regret and redemption, giving each character a distinct voice.
Songs like Bartender and Pull Up a Stool shift from apparent love songs into portraits of compassion and dependency, while Last Call for the Brokenhearted aches with hope for change. Backed by elite session players and polished mixing, Eoin recorded his vocals at home, letting raw storytelling take center stage. The result is a cohesive nocturnal journey that highlights his melodic instincts and lyrical ambition. It feels intimate and cinematic.
