That fear and uncertainty shape the track’s reflective tone, balancing vulnerability with faith. Over time, as recovery unfolded, the song’s meaning shifted toward gratitude, devotion, and perseverance. A new remix by longtime collaborator Damon Sharpe expands that emotion, pairing her voice with synths and beats, turning personal survival into an uplifting experience.
