Jax Fleming unveils debut EP, I’ll Be Fine

Jax Fleming has released his debut EP, I’ll Be Fine, which offers a raw snapshot of the last couple years of his life, delivered through six tracks that feel more like journal entries than polished poses. Working closely with producer and co-writer Wes Luttrell, Jax handled most of the instrumentation, shaping a sound that drifts between grunge-tinged introspection and alt-rock urgency.

Raised near Henderson, Kentucky, Jax has traded his former frontman swagger for a more grounded, ’90s-slacker identity that suits these songs well. Standout track HiLo shifts from reggae-leaning grooves to driving rock, capturing the emotional whiplash of loving someone unpredictable in the best possible musical way for all.
