The Housecarls, hailing from Hastings, England, have released their debut single, The Golden Years, which introduces a trio blending mid-60s pop punch with the grit of post-punk. Danny Goring steps away from his folk roots, plugging in to deliver a tune that reflects on youthful ambition and the long road toward creative fulfillment.

Joe Pruessner’s fluid bass lines and Darren Barnes’s understated drums anchor the track with finesse. Recorded in St Leonards and mixed by Swedish producer Nalle Ahlstedt, the song feels both nostalgic and forward-looking. It’s a compact, heartfelt reminder to hold onto your vision, even as time reshapes your path toward whatever future you still hope to create and share.
