Dutch drummer and songwriter d’Z has just released his new single, Shout!, which is a vibrant collaboration with Austrian vocalist Bernadette Dengler (Dee) and guitarist Chris Korzec. Their chemistry, sparked in 2021, fuels a track that blends punchy horns, lively grooves, and Dee’s effortlessly melodic vocal lines.
Born from a pandemic-era sketch, the song finally found its voice once Bernadette transformed its tricky harmonies into something natural and uplifting. Recorded old-school style at Edgetip Studio in Arnhem, the single radiates handcrafted energy and heartfelt camaraderie. Chris’ fiery guitar solo adds extra spark, rounding out a feel-good release that showcases d’Z’s evolving artistry and the creative bond behind it.
