The Party After have released their debut album, Dopamine Machine, which is the product of over a decade of resilience, friendship, and gritty ambition.
This Omaha-based trio brings raw energy and emotional weight to a style they’ve dubbed “dystopian party rock”, blending grunge, alt-rock, and spacey blues. Recorded in Mexico City, the album was shaped in a creative whirlwind, combining years-old tracks with spontaneous studio inspiration.

Frontman Jared Gottberg, juggling multiple projects and over 200 gigs a year, leads with unflinching lyrics on fame’s dark underbelly and the toll of chasing dreams. Tracks like Blast Off hit hard with cynicism, while One For All offers unity and hope. Their sound is heavy, heartfelt, and unfiltered.
Catch The Party After headlining Fecht Fest in Kearney this September, and stay tuned for their second album, which is already in the works. Check out Dopamine Machine below.
